When the USPS e-filing system went down on Christmas Eve, publishers were stuck at the office with no way to submit their mailings. CJP identified the outage early, coordinated directly with the USPS, and got every clients papers out the door - on time.
Christmas Eve 2024. Publishers and editors were trying to wrap up early and get home to their families - but the USPS online system had other plans. An outage knocked out both the e-filing system and the Postal Wizard website, leaving no way to electronically submit mailings.
Nobody could leave the office without knowing their papers would make it to subscribers on time.
CJP spotted the outage early and immediately contacted the USPS to understand the scope and timeline. We sent alerts to all our clients so nobody was left wondering what was happening.
Once the USPS activated their contingency plan, we followed up with every client - providing an email template with the contingency reference number they could hand to their local post office. For post offices unfamiliar with the backup process, CJP called them directly to smooth the way.
Every paper made it out on time. Publishers went home for Christmas with peace of mind instead of panic.
