The Hays Free Press loved their website but needed print subscription management. CJP built a custom integration with their existing vendor so both systems work as one - no duplicate data entry, no compromises.
The Hays Free Press had just finished a website rebuild with a vendor they loved - but that platform didn’t offer subscription management for print subscribers. They weren’t about to switch websites again, but managing print and digital subscribers in separate systems meant duplicate work and frustrated staff.
They needed the two systems to talk to each other.
Before onboarding, CJP worked directly with the Free Press’s website vendor to build a bridge between the systems. Subscriber updates made in CJP’s Workbench automatically sync with the website’s paywall - no manual duplication required.
Subscribers see one seamless experience. Staff get two best-in-class systems working together instead of compromising on functionality.
Ashley and her team no longer waste time updating subscriber records in two places or manually generating mailing labels and postal paperwork.
“When we were interested in making a change to simplify our subscription system, we really liked what the Community Journalism Project had to offer. However, we had just gone through a website remake and were not interested in changing it again. The CJP team jumped right in, working alongside eType Services, to integrate the two systems, giving us the best of both worlds and streamlining what used to be a cumbersome process, into something that makes sense, not only for my staff, but also for my customers. Despite a handful of bumps along the way, as expected with any new integration, this new process has saved us time, money and headache.”
